Artificial Plants for Bathrooms
Bathrooms are the one room where real houseplants either thrive or die outright, and it is rarely obvious which you will get. Windowless cloakrooms and internal en-suites give a plant almost nothing to work with, while the humidity that suits a fern will quietly rot the roots of anything succulent. Artificial planting sidesteps the whole problem: the greenery looks the same in January as it does in July, and steam, splashes and a total absence of daylight make no difference to it.
This range gathers the shapes that suit a bathroom best. Trailing plants soften the edge of a high shelf or the top of a cistern. Compact potted greenery works on a windowsill or beside a basin where space is tight. Larger floor-standing pieces fill the corner next to a freestanding bath, which is usually the hardest spot in the room to furnish. Ferns and palms lean spa-like; succulents and cacti give a drier, more architectural look.
