Trade enquiry FAQs
Is there a minimum order?
Wholesale orders normally carry a minimum of £150 +VAT, and wholesale accounts are open to verified businesses. Once your account is approved, trade prices are shown on screen across the whole range — there is nothing to request and no quote to wait for.
What's the difference between Botanik, Leaf Design Wholesale and Leaf Dropship?
All three are part of Leaf Design UK Ltd. Botanik is the premium retail range — this is the shop window. Trade buying happens on one of the other two: Leaf Design Wholesale for verified businesses buying stock at trade rates (£150 +VAT minimum), and Leaf Dropship for online sellers who want us to hold the stock and ship directly to their customers. Do you supply fire-retardant plants for hotels and restaurants?
Yes. We hold a dedicated fire-retardant range for venues where fire regulations apply to soft furnishings and decorative items. Order from that collection on the wholesale site, and ask us if you need the supporting documentation for your venue.
Will the plants survive outdoors?
Our standard indoor ranges will fade if left in direct sun. For terraces, courtyards, shopfronts and balconies use the UV-protected outdoor range, which is manufactured with UV inhibitors to hold colour far longer outside.
Do I need to speak to anyone to order?
No. Once your business account is verified you have the full range, live stock and trade pricing in front of you, and you order online the same way you would on any other site. We are here if you get stuck, but nothing needs our sign-off first.
Can I get samples before ordering?
Yes — samples are available, and they are chargeable. It's usually money well spent on a larger project, since it lets you check quality, scale and colour in the actual space before committing. Tell us which items you'd like in your enquiry and we'll confirm the cost.
How quickly will I hear back?
Normally the same working day, and always within one. If it's urgent, email sales@botanik.uk and put the deadline in the subject line.
