Christmas Wreaths

The wreath on the front door is the one Christmas decoration everybody outside the house sees, and it has to survive whatever December does to it. A real wreath hung in an exposed porch will drop needles, brown off at the edges and look tired well before the big day, particularly if it catches sun or driving rain.

An artificial wreath goes up looking exactly as it will look on Christmas morning, and then goes back in its box for next year. Over even a few seasons that works out considerably cheaper than buying fresh each December, and it removes the annual gamble on what the florist has left by the time you get there.
